Jazzsångerskan Caroline Stegenius och pianisten Martin Edin har musicerat ihop sedan 2005. Tillsammans har de genomfört ett åttiotal konserter som förenat egna kompositioner med jazzstandards, visor ur folkmusiktradition och fri improvisation. Detta album presenterar en samling jazzlåtar men även ett par sånger ur andra traditioner.
