I Believe in the Sun is a composition based on an inscription found on the wall of a cellar in Cologne, Germany that had been used as a hiding place for a number of Jews during the Second World War.

The piece premiered on November 4, 2023, performed by Sorella, Senza Nome, Agnes Hulander and Jeanette Ståhlkvist.

I believe in the sun even when it is not shining;
